Neeraj’s love for volleyball started when he was just 12 years old. He decided to give it a try, and it turned out he had a natural talent for the game. His skills didn’t go unnoticed.
A coach named Pawan Khokhar saw Neeraj’s potential and decided to help him get even better. Neeraj worked really hard and made it onto his school’s volleyball team. From there, he went on to compete in zonal, state & other regional tournaments, winning lots of medals along the way.
Dream of Playing for India
Neeraj’s biggest dream is to represent India in para volleyball. What makes him unique is that he’s not just practice & training with other para athletes but also with athletes who don’t have disabilities. This shows his determination and love for the sport.
Family Support Matters
Family support is often essential for success, and Neeraj had that support. His parents Awadhesh Singh & Indu devi played a big role in helping him follow his dreams. In 2017, he got married to Shweta Kumari Singh, and together they have a son named Astitva Singh. His family is his biggest source of strength and motivation.
Achieving Greatness
Neeraj kumar has represented Delhi in many Para Volleyball National Championships & he is a captain of Delhi team. He played outstanding in national championship. His dedication and skills got him selected for the prestigious India Camp in Jaipur in June 2022.

Neeraj’s journey had its share of challenges. In October 2020, during a practice match, he suffered a serious back injury that could have ended his career. But with the right medical care and determination, he made a full recovery.
