Anushka Shetty, often known as Sweety Shetty, is an Indian actress and model who primarily appears in Telugu and Tamil movies. She was born on November 7, 1981. She is often referred to as the “Superstar” of South Indian cinema despite only having acted in 47 films.
With the 2005 Telugu film Super, she made her acting debut and was nominated for Best Supporting Actress – Telugu at the Filmfare Awards.
She starred in Vikramarkudu, a box office smash directed by S. S. Rajamouli, the year after. Box office hits were her subsequent releases Lakshyam in 2007, Souryam in 2008, and Chintakayala Ravi in 2008.
Shetty won her first Filmfare Award for Best Actress – Telugu and a Nandi Award in 2009 for her dual parts in the Telugu horror film Arundhati. The next year, Shetty received a second straight Best Actress Award from Filmfare for her depiction of a prostitute in the critically acclaimed film Vedam.

Positive feedback was given to Shetty for her portrayal of the role of Yuvarani Devasena in Bahubali.
